With LaMarr Woodley (released) and Maurice Jones-Drew (retired) officially off the roster, the Raiders gained just over $7.5 million in cap room. According to Spotrac.com, that puts the Raiders estimated cap room at $65.6 million – just $3 million less than Jacksonville.
The Raiders will eventually part ways with Matt Schaub which will give GM Reggie McKenzie an additional $5.5 million in available spending. If more cuts are coming, here are a few more cap numbers to keep an eye on.
