Greg Papa Gave One Of The Raiders Legendary Calls On Thursday Night

Thursday night was the most memorable ending to a Raiders game in recent memory.

The miracle finish in Oakland deserved a legendary call and that’s exactly what Raiders play-by-play voice Greg Papa gave us.

“Derek going to roll left… Derek throws for the endzone… and it is caught for a touchdown by Michael Crabtree!”

“Give it to me loud now! Touchdooooown Raaaaaidders!”

One of the great calls of Papa’s career and it couldn’t have come at a more critical time.

A loss to the Chiefs would have dropped the Raiders to 2-5 and ended any realistic chance of finishing at the top of the division.

Now the tides have turned in the AFC West and you could see it, feel it, and hear it in Papa’s call.

  1. Greatest call of Papa’s career! This game will forever be one of the greatest in Raiders history. Like all the others, it needs a name. How about, “Sea of flags” or “Holy Rollout”? Maybe “Outta time”? Any other ideas? Please get these suggestions to Mr. Davis or NFL films. I don’t want money, just to go down in Raiders history for naming the game! 😁 I have bled silver and black for 40 years. I can feel it’s time to win another SB!!! RNFL! ☠️☠️☠️
