Report: Raiders To Start E.J. Manuel On Sunday

The Raiders intend to stick with the original plan and start E.J. Manuel against the Ravens on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

It’s an interesting choice of words by Schefter that Carr “continues” to push to play.

Does that mean the door is maybe still cracked open just a bit?

Fans voted Saturday on twitter and agreed with head coach Jack Del Rio’s decision to have an abundance of caution with Carr’s injury…

In all likelihood, Carr will return next week against the Chargers – the first of back to back division games as the Chiefs travel to Oakland the following Thursday night.

  1. I think it best to rest Carr and not rush him back. Back injuries are nothing to play with. If you need an example, remember Tony Romo. Not my favorite QB, but back injury probably ended his career early. No one wanted to take a chance on signing him, because of his back.
