Raiders RB Josh Jacobs Has Apparently Been Playing With a Fractured Shoulder Since Week 7

Josh Jacobs is running away with the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. We’ve known that for a few weeks now.

What we didn’t know is that Jacobs has apparently been doing it with a fractured shoulder he suffered in Green Bay. This information didn’t come from the team, but rather a SnapChat post on Jacobs’ personal SnapChat account.

The video below almost cuts it off, but the caption at the end reads “It’s been fractured since week 7 I just play on it.”

Yo this is wild. Josh Jacobs has been playing with a fractured shoulder the last 5 weeks? #RaiderNation (via his #SnapChat) https://t.co/B3dwpT7TpH

This was the play where Jacobs is believed to have suffered the injury and the blow he delivered on safety Adrian Amos was as violent as any hit you’ll see all year.

What #Raiders rookie RB Josh Jacobs did to #Packers Safety Adrian Amos is 😲😲 https://t.co/H2RyMTMJMi

Jacobs ran for 124 yards against the Packers and missed the following week of practice, but still played against the Texans the next week.

Just give Jacobs the OROY award now… where would the Raiders be without him?
