ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday what others have been saying for much of the week: San Diego continues to look like a viable option for the Raiders if the Chargers bolt for Los Angeles.

Earlier this week, Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Daily News also described San Diego as a “viable option” for the Raiders and added that the team is prepared to “pounce” if the opportunity should present.
While Schefter and Bonsignore seem to have similar sources, Raiders’ owner Mark Davis says the reports aren’t coming from him. According to Steve Hartman of 1360 AM in San Diego, Davis said that reports linking the Raiders to San Diego are “pure speculation” and that Davis “hasn’t talked to a single media person” since the owner meetings in Houston.
Of course, counting Hartman, Davis’ media conversation count no longer stands at zero.
Hartman didn’t offer anything more from his conversation with Davis, but it does appear the Raiders owner may have something to offer by Monday…
