Amari Cooper wanted to be drafted by the Raiders. Yeah, it sounds cliché, but according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, it’s true.
The process of figuring this out began with a few harmless tweets by the Raiders showing Cooper being introduced at the facility. For whatever reason, the Raiders media team chose to present Amari wearing his “game face.”
Naturally, the image led to jokes and eventually a mocking Deadspin article – that was quickly shot down by Rapoport.
And so nothing’s lost in translation…
