Since entering the NFL two years ago, Amari Cooper has lived up to all reasonable expectations.
One of the most explosive receivers in football, Cooper’s resume already includes a pair of 1,000-yard seasons.
Nevertheless, the former fourth-overall pick isn’t impressed with his body of work.
“I know that I can have a lot more production than I’ve had in the past two seasons,” Cooper told reporters last week.” I feel like I can go nowhere but up.”
He expanded on those thoughts via his Instagram account.
“To be honest, this league hasn’t even seen half of my best yet.”

Cooper’s assessment of himself was in reference to being voted no. 53 in an NFL top-100 player poll.
The confidence isn’t new, but Cooper rarely offers so much as a touchdown celebration – much less a media sound bite.
Not that anyone is complaining.
