Maxx Crosby trade rumors have picked up in the last few weeks, but are the Raiders interested in trading him?
That was the debate for the better part of the last two months, but according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, news around Crosby has been relatively quiet in recent days.
“It’s somewhat quiet on the Maxx Crosby front. This is a layered discussion because a team source said a few weeks ago that Crosby’s chances of returning were relatively small. But he doesn’t plan to request a trade,” Fowler reported on Sunday.
“He’s tight with Raiders owner Mark Davis, and he probably wouldn’t garner a Micah Parsons-like trade package (two firsts and a key player). [Crosby] wants to win, which might not be in the cards for Las Vegas in 2026,” Fowler continued.
“Some teams I’ve spoken to believe he will remain with the Raiders — for now. ‘Why would you trade him?’ one GM asked. ‘He’s a premier player at a premier position.’ Added an executive from an NFC team: ‘I think the price is too high. I’m not sure they really want to move him at this point. But that could change.’ At least a dozen teams have expressed cursory to strong interest in recent weeks.”
Fowler’s message on Sunday was in line with what Raider Nation Radio Q Myers said last week about Crosby not necessarily wanting to be the bad guy in the situation.
“My gut feeling tells me that [Crosby will be with the Raiders week one],” Myers told Zach Gelb of 365 Sports.
“That’s based on the fact that I don’t think that he wants to be the bad guy. I don’t think he’s the one that wants to come out and say, ‘Yeah, please trade me.’ I think in an ideal world for Maxx he would just get traded. The Raiders would say, ‘Well, this is the best interest of the team’ and move him. I don’t think he wants to disappoint Raider fans.”
“This is a guy that was a fourth-round pick. This is a guy that nobody really believed in and only had one offer going to college. He’s been a underdog his whole career and really made something of it. I think he feels some loyalty to the Raiders, especially owner Mark Davis. I just don’t think he wants to be that guy and unless some team comes to the Raiders and blows them out of the water with some great offer, I don’t think he gets moved.”

It would be nice if there was other news on the Raiders aside from Max Crosby. BORING AS ALL HELL. Change it up
I say change his position to middle linebacker he’s fast and can react quicker than most linebackers and fast enough to catch runningbacks . He and Ted Hendricks has got those look arms but max has more speed… BETTER YET COME BACK HOME TO CALIFORNIA…CALIFORNIA IS RAIDER NATION…BEST FAN BASE IN THE NFL.. OAKLAND RAIDERS….IT JUST SOUNDS BETTER.
