It was a difficult and underwhelming season this year for the Raiders, but it doesn’t seem to have affected the relationship of Derek Carr and Marshawn Lynch.
Carr appeared Friday on Sirius XM NFL’s Mad Dog Radio and spoke glowingly of Lynch both as a player and as a person.
Asked if Lynch was part of the team’s plan moving forward, this was Carr’s response…
“I can tell you this, we love [Marshawn]. I don’t think you’ll ever find someone who is Marshawn’s teammate who doesn’t love that guy and wouldn’t do anything for him and it goes above what he can do on the football field.
We all know his running style. You see it all the time. That guy runs his tail off. He’s going to give it everything he has and us as teammates, we know that he’ll do anything we need him to do for us. The way he picked up some blitzes and saw those things and studied those things to protect me, that’s selfless. He could easily just want the ball on the one yard–line and score touchdowns and all that, but he’s taken the time to review the blitzes. He’s taken those times so I don’t get touched and it means something to him.
To be honest, some of the most intellectual conversations I’ve ever had with someone, and the most knowledge and wisdom I’ve gained, is from Marshawn. He’s a great person. Great to learn from if you are a young guy. Great guy to talk to. So I hope he wants to come back. I hope that our organization wants to bring him back.”

I am starting to think that everyone asking for Marshawn Lynch to be cut or traded is secretly a fan of a lesser team. True Raider Nation knows what the Raiders have in Lynch. He is a smart hard nosed runner with an attitude. Teams hate lining up opposite him. Yes Raider fans were disappointed this year but he was the best offensive player the team had this year. Does that mean we cut Carr who had his worst season yet, do they cut Cooper who dropped almost everything he touched? No the answer is it was a down year and the Raiders should bounce back in 2018
I just don’t know what all these Marshawn haters want? Best offensive player on the team in 2017! Our season sucked. Just imagine it without Lynch’s 900 yds! SMH!

There’s only one thing wrong with the beast, get off your *** and stand for the National anthem. Here in Las Vegas were very patriotic after oct.1 shooting. We will take offensive moves and rally’s in Las Vegas if he doesn’t respect the flag the anthem.
