Former Exec Believes Tom Brady will Drop FOX, Commit to Raiders’ Front Office in 2026

Is Tom Brady going to end his broadcasting tenure with FOX and commit to a front office position with the Raiders?

That’s something many fans and media personalities have been saying Brady needs to do for a while, and on Wednesday, a former baseball executive turned podcast host said he believes Brady will be done in the broadcast booth after this season.

Sitting in on the Dan Le Batard Show on Wednesday, David Sampson said he is certain Brady’s time in the booth will come to an end in a matter of weeks.

“They leak out that Tom Brady is going to be very involved in the search for the new coach. Guess what? Tom Brady’s running that team right now and the NFL knows it and FOX knows it, and something’s got to give. So enjoy Tom in the booth because you’re not going to see him there next year,” Sampson said.

“He will be in the Raiders front office. He will not return as an analyst for FOX. He cannot be this involved in the operation of a team and be the no. 1 analyst. It is an absolute insult to analysts what he is doing and it’s an insult to team presidents what he is doing. You end up doing both of them in a mediocre way and I assume and I know… I promise you… Tom Brady will not be with FOX next season. He will be full time in the Raiders front office running that team. Period.”

Sampson might not be a familiar voice to everyone following the Raiders, but he is hardly a league outsider.

Eventually, many believe Brady will have to give up his role at FOX, but it hasn’t been something expected to happen this year.

Raiders GM John Spytek was asked on Monday if Brady is expected to spend more time at the facility next year, and nothing about his answer made it sound like anything will be different with Brady’s role going forward.

Time will tell if Sampson got it right, but safe to say, there probably wouldn’t be many among Raider Nation that would be upset if he did.

  1. Why would he as the owner is allowing him to call the shots on a part time basis and thats why the team doesn’t improve.
