Mark Davis Attended Funeral For Victim in Henry Ruggs Crash

The friends and family of Tina Tintor welcomed at least one representative from the Raiders at her funeral services on Thursday – and the guest was one that was particularly recognizable.

Raiders owner Mark Davis was escorted to Tintor’s funeral in a black Cadillac SUV and stayed for the full service, according to a TMZ report.

It was a compassionate gesture by Davis, who has felt the pain of the tragedy on November 2 from both sides of the accident. Davis was heavily invested in Henry Ruggs as a person and a player, but he also made the decision to release Ruggs from the Raiders on the same day as the accident.

To this point, the Tintor family has remained very private in their response to Tina’s passing. A GoFundMe page was formed to assist the family with expenses and has raised more than $103,000 as of Saturday.

For what it’s worth, this isn’t the first time a member of the Davis family has gone over and above for a grieving family. In February of 2000, Al Davis covered the funeral costs of Chiefs’ legendary pass rusher Derrick Thomas when Davis learned that the family could not afford the funeral expenses.

  1. Mr.Davis had no reason at all to be there.Face it your stupid *** player screwed-up,not you Mr.Davis
And once again NONE of this would have happend if Derek Carr was’nt raider qb

    1. Dude you’re how can you play Derek when he had nothing to do with this or Mr Davis this is all on Ruggs he made a big mistake and now he’s going to pay for it and to me sound like you’re just a jackass to blame it on somebody else but the person that should be

    2. Lol, none of this would’ve happened if Carr wasn’t the QB? A very dumb observation. Mark had EVERY reason to be there. Ruggs was a representative of the organization when this unfortunate tragedy transpired. He felt it necessary for the Raiders to be a presence in support of the woman who lost her life thanks to some poor choices by one of it’s players. He didn’t have to, but he did. A great gesture for Davis to be there in person. To blame Carr for someone else’s choice is beyond stupid. If you aren’t a member of that family or their loved ones…then your ignorant opinion doesn’t matter. Mad for nothing smh

    3. People like you are the reason anyone looks down at us raiders fans. He wanted to be present, he wanted to show his condolences and you’re an idiot to think it’s anyone’s fault other than Ruggs

  2. Again, the dumbest **** I’ve read since reading. Mr. Davis attending the services of the victim, 100% unadulterated class at it’s best.

  3. That has to be the stupidest thing I read and that’s including what Biden says. To try to lay blame on Carr is ridiculous. Ruggs is a grown man. Makes own decisions. Just too bad he made bad one.

    1. You had to say Biden. You’re not as bad at the original post.. but closer than any normal person. It’s people like you who bring politics into everything is why Biden is President. Remember your forum, dumbass.

  4. Again, the dumbest **** I’ve read again. For Mr.Davis to attend the service was an outstanding gesture, despite what the NFL and the rest of the teams think, we have more class than all of them put together. Seems like Jason still has issues for not being able to chill with the cool kids in school, you’re a grown *** man troop, get over it
