Raiders Will Have A Familiar Looking To Give Them A Little Payback on Monday Night

When the Saints roll into Allegiant Stadium on Monday night, they will have an especially motivated defensive coordinator looking to ruin the Raiders first ever game in Las Vegas.

Dennis Allen was the Raiders head coach from 2012 until the fourth week of the 2014 season when he was abruptly fired on his way home from a Raiders loss to Miami in England.

It’s been six years since he was fired and although very few faces remain within the Raiders organization from 2014, you can bet Allen would love to spoil the big night for Raiders owner Mark Davis. There were real trust issues between Davis and Allen from almost the beginning of Allen’s tenure with the team, and it’s no secret that it didn’t end well between the two.

Rumors have it that while then-GM Reggie McKenzie was the one that fired Allen, Davis was the driving force behind the move.

In his only game against the Raiders since he was fired, Allen’s defense gave up 35 points in the 2016 regular season opener – a Saints home loss that not many were expecting in New Orleans at the time.

If all goes as planned, Allen will take home another loss to the Raiders on Monday, despite the fact that the Saints are 5.5 favorites heading into the game.

  1. Allen- Was a piece of garbage with zero experience & absolutely no vision how to run a team. I was at the “Raiders Trng Camp” in Napa Calif. #2012-2013. It was unbelievable how dysfunctional & unorganized the practice was run. The coaches were all red-eyed like they had been drinking like college kids. There was no fire 🔥 during the drills. The outdoor weight room was one of the worst I’ve seen. He was not respected by any of the players, i could see it & feel it. What a joke. This guy should not even be in the league??
At best a H.S program. Can’t believe the Saints hired him. They are destined for losing games defensively for a long time- unless “Peyton” wants to lose with this 🤡 clown. Get rid of him.

  2. Dennis Allen was a terrible coach for the Raiders. He commanded zero respect from players and staff. F**k that guy.

  3. I believe the Las Vegas Raiders will come up with a win and spoil coach Allen his loss because being fired in the 2014 to 2016. LET’S GO RAIDERS win the game without mistakes and less penalties. Raiders Raiders Raiders win win win

  4. It was wrong of Reggie Mackenzie to fire Hue Jackson to hire this scrub of awful Jr high school
quality coach Dennis Allen as a NFL head coach!

He didn’t even looked like a coach at any level.
    Much less an NFL coach….

He looked more like a 2nd rate place kicker looking for a try out!! He Sucked!
