If the Raiders are going to add another wide receiver before the trade deadline, it might be too costly for them to consider disgruntled Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
Despite the obvious displeasure Diggs has been showing in Minnesota, a number of reports have indicated that the Vikings do not want to trade him. On Thursday morning, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport seemed to imply a trade could happen, but said it would take a “massive deal” to persuade the Vikings.

On #Vikings WR Stefon Diggs: His frustration with the organization has been palpable. He was not at practice yesterday for non-injury reasons. Teammates are left wondering if he wants to be there. The team is adamant he is not available for a trade, barring some massive deal.
As much as anything, it’s noteworthy how many players this year have tried to force trades in recent months. Antonio Brown created the new playbook on demanding a move (and releases) and it seems like Jalen Ramsey has been trying to do the same without losing all credibility as a decent human being the way Brown did it.
Who knows what will happen with Diggs, but any team thinking about a trade for Diggs might have reservations about trading a top pick on account of the talented wide receivers expected to be at the top of the 2020 draft.
The better bet for the Raiders, assuming the cost to add Diggs is too great, would be to pry away A.J. Green away from the Bengals. Green should be available for a low-to-mid round pick in the next week or two and would be a great fit for Derek Carr.
Green also isn’t a locker room cancer – which probably means a lot to Jon Gruden right about now.

Haha there’s no way we ever trade for another drama-filled WR that could care less about his team.
AJ would be a nice add as long as we don’t have to give up one of our 1st’s
