Simms: Antonio Brown Dealing With A Case Of Freeze Burn

According to former Jon Gruden pupil, now NBC media voice Chris Simms, the injury Antonio Brown has been dealing with is a case of freeze burn from a cryotherapy machine.

Via ProFootballTalk on Tuesday:

On Monday, PFT Live co-host Chris Simms said that the photos posted by Brown don’t reveal blisters but the peeling of layers of skin from the bottom of his feet. Simms said that he once had a condition like that, thanks to what he called an “unidentified Buc fungus” in Tampa…

After Monday’s show, Simms got word from someone with knowledge of the situation that Brown burned his feet by entering a cryotherapy machine without the proper footwear, and his feet were frost.

Brown’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, did not respond to a request for comment.

Every indication over the past two weeks has been that Brown’s injury isn’t serious, but after recently seeing a foot specialist, it’s obvious  that the team and player would like to see the injury heal a little faster than it has.

This was the picture Brown tweeted of his feet about a week ago.
