Day 2 was some of the most fun I’ve had during a Raiders draft in recent memory. Two huge, potentially tide-turning picks in Lynn Bowden Jr. and Bryan Edwards back-to-back at 80 and 81 respectively. So cool. Entering Saturday, the Raiders sit with the following selections: 121 (4th), 139 (4th), and 172 (5th). I’d prioritize LB, CB, and DL/EDGE.
Here’s the best of the rest for Day 3. Let’s have another one, shall we?
(these are in no particular order, but I really want the Appalachian State linebacker on this roster in the worst way)
LB Akeem Davis-Gaither (Appalachian State)
CB Amik Robertson (Louisiana Tech)
DL/EDGE James Lynch (Baylor)
DL Jason Strowbridge (North Carolina)
EDGE Curtis Weaver (Boise State)
WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (Michigan)
WR Tyler Johnson (Minnesota)
WR Antonio Gandy-Golden (Liberty)
SAF Kenny Robinson (XFL via West Virginia)
LB Troy Dye (Oregon)
CB Bryce Hall (Virginia)
CB Reggie Robinson (Tulsa)
WR Joe Reed (Virginia)
WR Isaiah Hodgins (Oregon State)
QB Anthony Gordon (Washington State)
RB Sewo Olonilua (Texas Christian)
TE Hunter Bryant (Washington)
TE C.J O’Grady (Arkansas)
TE Colby Parkinson (Stanford)
TE Stephen Sullivan (Louisiana State)
QB Cole McDonald (Hawaii)
WR Isaiah Coulter (Rhode Island)
Akeem Davis-Gaither? YES!!!
Anthony Gordon? ABSOLUTELY!!!
In my mind, these two players will prove to be absolute steals in this draft and set the Raiders up for future success.
