Adam Schefter Shares Encouraging Update on Ashton Jeanty Leg Injury

Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty

The Raiders appear to have gotten good news on the leg injury Ashton Jeanty suffered at practice on Sunday.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jeanty is believed to have sprained his ankle, and the team is unsure how long he will be out.

Schefter added that the injury is not expected to be a “long term” situation, and that comes as incredibly good news for the organization based on what was being reported earlier in the day.

Just the fact that it was Jeanty’s ankle and not his knee is an encouraging developmen of its own.

There are far more season-ending scenarios involving knee injuries, and even if Jeanty experienced a high ankle sprain, he would still be expected to return in the first quarter of the season.

The Raiders still are unsure how long he will be out, but it is not considered a long-term injury and the organization is breathing… pic.twitter.com/toRYADmjo1 / X”

  1. Get Jordan Meredith off this team and go sign Mekhi Becton to a one year prove it deal. Protecting Mendoza at all costs needs to be priority #1.
