Agent Says There are Three NFL Coaches that His Clients Talk About Wanting to Playing For

The Antonio Pierce effect was undeniable in the last nine games of the regular season, and now the Raiders are hopeful that this presence will have an impact on free agency as well.

The Raiders already have the advantage of playing in a tax-friendly state, and now they seem to have a head coach that free agents are already talking about wanting to play for next year.

Raiders insider Hondo Carpenter shared a story on the Las Vegas Raiders Insider podcast this week that should add a little intrigue to the upcoming free agency period for Raiders fans…

“I spoke with an agent tonight, who was telling me had seen my report about free agents wanting to play for [Antonio Pierce]. He called me and he said ‘I want to just tell you something… I saw your report about free agents wanting to play for AP.’ He said ‘Do you want to know the number one thing I’m hearing from my clients… He said ‘Dan Campbell, Antonio Pierce, Demeco Ryans.’ [That] is who these people want to play for.'”

The NFL’s free agency period begins on March 13, but the first big recruit that Pierce needs to bring to Las Vegas is an offensive coordinator.

One of the most popular offensive coordinator candidates in this year’s hiring cycle (who the Raiders were reportedly interested in) took a job with the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday.

The Raiders have cast a wide net in their search for a new OC, and after an underwhelming offensive campaign in 2023, it will be imperative that Pierce and company get the right person for the job.

    1. I told people that we were done in the off-season because nobody wanted to play for Mcdummy.. Things are coming Raider Nation all that we need was a leader of men 💪🏾

  1. LMAO !!!!!!!!!!! Everybody wants to be a Raider now and I understand it happened to me. Sometimes you don’t pick your team, they pick you and when I was chosen it was one of the greatest things that happened to me in 50 years. But we need true pirates we have enough captains.

    JUST WIN BABY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. It’s always been that way. Do you remember back when guys like Ronnie Lott, Jerry Rice, Warren Sapp, Marshawn Lynch, Charlie Garner just to name a few.

  2. All I can say is Mark Davis made the right choice in picking up Antonio Pierce you see how much the players have respect for this man he used to be once a player right there on the field with us and that makes it a big impact on these players out there I think we’ve actually been there had to get dirty had to either gain that first down or stop it from being gained then you know what it’s really like to be a player your communication is better everybody’s on the same page it’s a smooth process I think anyways that’s my own opinion
