One of the real draws to hiring Jon Gruden would be his ability to bring with him some of the top assistants the NFL has to offer.
John Morton, Paul Guenther, and Gus Bradley have already been linked to a potential Gruden staff and so has Gruden’s former quarterback, Rich Gannon.
Bengals' DC Paul Guenther, whose contract is now up, is an enviable position: he is expected to be a leading candidate to become Jon Gruden's DC in Oakland or could be HC candidate in Cincinnati depending on how the Marvin Lewis situations unfolds, per league source.

As it turns out, another big name and familiar face to Raider fans could be be in the mix.
Former Raiders head coach Bill Callahan remains one of the most respected offensive line coaches in the league and also has a chance to join Gruden (Callahan spent the past few years with Jay Gruden in Washington).
Another name to watch to join Jon Gruden’s #Raiders staff as he puts it together is Bill Callahan as the OL coach/running game coordinator (& possibly Asst Head Coach).
So far I’ve heard the following:
OC- John Morton
OL- Bill Callahan
QB- Rich Gannon— Joe Arrigo (@joearrigo) January 1, 2018
For the past three seasons the Raiders offensive line has been coached by Mike Tice, who was instrumental in building one of the top offensive lines in Oakland.
A transition to Callahan would certainly ease the loss of Tice, who will inevitably soon be out of the picture.
One final note from Arrigo (who had the Callahan report) is that it sounds like general manager Reggie McKenzie will remain with the team in the event Gruden is hired by the Raiders.
