Antonio Pierce lasted only one season as the full-time head coach of the Raiders and since his departure from the organization, not a lot has been heard from Pierce.
Pierce has stayed away from interviews and hasn’t spoken publicly about his time with the Raiders.
We learned in June that Pierce was receiving as much as 583,000 per month from the Raiders prior to being fired, and it has been rumored that he might take some time before returning to the coaching ranks.
As of now, Pierce isn’t listed on any college or NFL coaching staffs, but he did announce a new position this week with an upstart company called ‘Athletes in Action.’
Not a lot is known about Athletes in Control, but based online their mission statement, it sounds like they offer some type of consultative service to amateur and professional athletes.
From their website…
“AIC was founded by a team of athletes, coaches, and business professionals who saw too many talented players overwhelmed by high-stakes decisions. We help athletes take full control of their futures—with insight, access and structure.”
Also a partner with Athletes in Control is Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, who played for Pierce at Arizona State.
Daniels’ official title with the organization is a ‘Brand Ambassador’ and he was welcomed to the group on Wednesday – the same day Pierce was announced.
Based on the small beginnings of the company, along with their ability to afford Daniels as one of the faces of the company, it wouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that Pierce and Daniels have some level of ownership stake in the company.

Good for him. Has impeccable leadership & always had the respect of his players. Hope the best for him
Stealing from Mark Davis, but Mark isn’t the smartest tool…AP literally isn’t qualified to coach Pop Warner or high school football.
Long Beach poly was horrible when he coached them..He literally sold himself on BS and unqualified credentials to coach a cheerleading squad.. Embarrassing on every level possible
How is it stealing. When one year you never gave him a fair chance with all the injuries. Also having to settle with Getsey as OC. Once he left the team played better on offense.
