Former Super Bowl MVP Headed To The Raiders?

It’s been a slow start to free agency for the Raiders, but Brice Butler isn’t worried. Why? Maybe because he has a sense for what’s happening next. Based on his twitter account, Butler seems to believe the Raiders will sign a former Super Bowl MVP. At the moment, there are three Super Bowl MVPs available from the past 10 years – Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes, and Malcolm Smith.

For what it’s worth, Butler was a teammate of Malcolm Smith’s at USC in 2009 and 2010. Smith, 25, also has strong ties with Raiders’ defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. (from Seattle).
