If wide receiver Allen Robinson does not receive the franchise tag or reach a long-term deal with the Jaguars, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says “keep an eye on the Oakland Raiders” to be a possible suitor.

Robinson, who is still just 24 years old, essentially has one dynamic season to his resume and it came under offensive coordinator Greg Olson, who now carries the same title in Oakland.
In 2015, Robinson put up 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns, but was not as dynamic in 2016. Robinson’s 2017 season ended with an ACL injury he sustained in the first game of the year.
The cost for Jacksonville to apply the franchise tag to Robinson in 2018 is projected to be around $16 million.
The deadline for teams to apply the franchise tag is March 6.

This has the makings of a 2- year “Let’s see what you’ve got” type of deal. If he’d accept somewhere around $9-11m/year, with some guarantees, I’d love to see him take over Crabtree’s WR spot. Crab will cost somewhere around $8, so the offset would be well worth it, IMO…..
Spotrac has him estimated at $13.8 million per year.
I would love if we could get him at that price though.
He only has this contract and maybe one more to get the big money so not sure if he would do it.
I’m sure they’ll be talking to Robinson as well as Landry. Gruden said there are specific free agents they’ll be looking at. Probably defensive tackles, corners, WRs, and linebacker. Doesn’t mean they’ll sign him though.
Bounce on crab and go get him.. draft a slot wr and forget about Seth
