Maxx Crosby Comments on Derek Carr’s Success in New Orleans

Derek Carr is playing at an All-Pro level in his second season with the Saints, and several of his former teammates have taken notice.

Davante Adams talked about Carr this week on the Up and Adams Show, and Maxx Crosby brought up his old friend on his own podcast.

“It’s dope to see. I’m happy for D.C. He’s f—ing balling,” Crosby said on The Rush.

“There’s obviously a lot of factors. They got a new offensive coordinator, too. I know he’s been a help, but yeah, I feel like there’s a million things you can point at, but you can just tell his confidence and everything, he looks like the Derek we knew. You know what I mean? That 2021 Derek when we were going to the playoffs, like, ‘f— it, I’m taking my shots and doing my thing.’ So, yeah, big shoutout to D.C. He’s balling right now.”

Carr was one of the most polarizing players in Raider history and there is still at least one media personality covering the team that spends most of his time on social media debating Carr’s career with strangers.

Whatever your opinion of Carr, everyone can agree on at least one thing.

You never want to find him on your schedule in an election year…

  1. I been a Raiders fan since 1972. Derek Carr has the most comebacks wins. So that there tells you he is a winner and a leader on the field. Many fans likes to blame a QB for a hold team loosing record. Raiders has not had a top 20 defense 20yrs. Now we have the defense. The offense is in rebuild mode. Carr will be hard to replace. Mcdummy, messed up a wonderful plan.

  2. Seems like the team decided not to show up today. God forbid it’s another mediocre Raiders season. I’ve been a fan since I could remember as a toddler, 64 now and I’m just sick

  3. Most saints fans are on and off the band wagon. I’m with them every year win, lose or draw.55 years! GO WHO DAT! I’d like to meet Derek Carr?

  4. Carr having a Pro Bowl season? Hardly, he did what Carr always does, had a game where he put up big numbers, then followed it up with a lousy one and a loss, vintage Carr.

The Saints will lose their next 3 games (ATL, KC, TB) with “Pro Bowler” Carr.
