Raiders Owned The Week’s Most Active Social Media Following

The Raiders have the most active fans in the NFL on social media.

A survey of hashtags by Sponsorship Research International (SRi), a Connecticut-based market research company, determined that the Raiders were featured in more social media hashtags (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) than any team in the NFL in the past week – and it wasn’t particularly close.

In week one, the Raiders were the 4th-most ‘hashtagged’ team behind the Cowboys, Eagles, and Packers – all of whom lost in week two (and aparently silenced in the process).

With Oakland back on the Sunday night stage this week, the #RaiderNation hashtag probably won’t be falling back in line for at least another week.
