The Raiders went into Sunday’s game as underdogs, but a win against the 5-2 Browns has at least one national media pundit finally putting a little respect on the good Raider name.
“I think the Raiders are the one team in the league that their good enough to make the playoffs,” Fox Sports’ Colin Cowherd said on Monday. “They are not good enough to win a bunch of games in the playoffs but they could also beat everybody… they are the only team in the NFL today that could beat anybody on any Sunday.”
That’s some high praise from Cowherd after some of his takes earlier in the season weren’t particularly complementary of the Raiders.
In fact, Cowherd had the Raiders winning just five games this year.
Nevertheless, if the Raiders can continue to beat playoff contenders as they have (toughest schedule in the NFL to this point), then they deserve more respect from the national media pundits like Cowherd.
The better news going forward is that the Raiders have the easiest remaining schedule in the league (based on record) and look to be finally getting healthy (knock on wood). With three division games in a row on deck, the next few weeks will be pivotal in terms of whether the 2020 Raiders will be competing for the AFC West or merely a wild card spot (not that anyone would complain about that).
Remember, another win against the Chiefs and the Raiders would hold the AFC West tiebreaker with them if they happened to end the season with the same record.

I just want to relate to the last comments about the Raiders i also truly believe that’s Right about our Raiders and on any given Sunday they could beat anyone team as they have proved it already this season .
