Raiders Top-Rated Pass Rush To Face NFL’s Lowest-Rated Offensive Line on Sunday

After a great start to the season, the Raiders are entering Week 3’s game as -210 favorites against the Dolphins, according to Sports Betting Dime.

One reason for the heavy odds on the Raiders this week is the resurgence of their pass rush. Through two games, Maxx Crosby is PFF’s top-graded defensive end in the NFL and Yannick Ngakoue comes in at no. 10.

As a group, the Raiders are PFF’s top pass rushing unit in the NFL and the Dolphins have the worst pass-blocking offensive line in the NFL.

Not a good combination for Miami.

Trevor Sikkema on Twitter: “🚨 BIG TIME JUICY MATCHUP ALERT 🚨Miami travels to Las Vegas to play the Raiders in Week 3.Per @PFF:Team Pass Rush Grade:Raiders – 87.7 (1st in the NFL)Team Pass Protection Grade:Miami – 38.2 (32nd in the NFL) / Twitter”

Complicating matters a little more for the Dolphins is the news that starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (rib injury) won’t be available on Sunday. Veteran QB Jacoby Brissett will start and Reid Sinnett will be the Dolphins’ backup.

As for the Raiders, running back Josh Jacobs (toe) and offensive guard Richie Incognito (calf) both appear to be long shots to play on Sunday. Jacobs is dealing with a sprained toe and Incognito has been struggling to get back from another lower leg injury. Unfortunately for Incognito, his injury trajectory seems to be eerily similar to what it was at this time a year ago.

  1. This may be a trap game….the Raiders have been blessed with the ability to lose games they should’ve won. We can emerge from this at 3-0 and have positive momentum…I hope!!!
Just win baby….and make Peyton Manning into a fool.
