Report: Jerry Jeudy Might Have “Lingering Knee Issue”

Jerry Jeudy is rumored to be at the top of Jon Gruden’s wide receiver wish list, but according to a recent rumor, the Alabama wide receiver might have some lingering knee issues.

The original report about Jeudy’s knee came from a radio host in Philadelphia, but seemed to be confirmed by ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Wednesday morning.

Again. On a Philadelphia radio station.

Let’s just say, it’s a lingering knee issue” – @AdamSchefter on the Jerry Jeudy knee injury

For what it’s worth, Jeudy’s agent responded to the rumors this morning:

No issue here. The knee is fine. Jerry never missed a practice or a game in two years after the surgery. He never even needed treatment on the knee. Every team examined him at the Combine. No team saw anything that even required him to participate in the Combine recheck.

Jeudy has also posted a number of offseason workouts (some of him running routes in a hard rain) and has looked 100% in each.

Obviously teams have known about any issues around Jeudy’s health and is it coincidence that the reports of Jeudy’s questionable knee are coming from a city that would benefit by him sliding down in the draft?

Probably not.

  1. I’ve read the Eagles are looking for WR help and could be looking to trade up from 21 to get one. Could they have planted this story if the want Jeudy. Wouldn’t be the 1st team did it.😁😁
