According to Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Raiders might be in for disastrous news on Martavis Bryant.
When Jon Gruden traded for Bryant, he knew another misstep from Bryant could knock the 26 year-old wide receiver out of the league with another suspension – and it sounds like that is what the Raiders fear might happen.
Via the Las Vegas Review-Journal:
“The Raiders fear potential NFL discipline might be imminent for wide receiver Martavis Bryant, sources said Thursday, inciting internal uneasiness at the conclusion of an otherwise encouraging spring workout program.
Multiple team officials declined comment as they left for a weekslong break before training camp, but they acknowledged the club is awaiting final word on the situation. It is believed to pertain to the NFL’s substance-abuse policy.”
Applying simple logic to the fact that Bryant has already served a year-long suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, another violation would be devastating (at least another year, right?) to his career.
For Gruden, a suspension for Bryant would be an incredibly disappointing return on the third-round pick the Raiders gave up for the talented wide receiver less than two months ago.

Don’t know how you can trade a 3rd round pick for a player in the NFL without knowing all the facts of the players backround.
right?! Especially the way RM handles his background checks. If this was on JG it’ll be a first kick in the nuts.
This was an impetuous decision by Gruden.
