According to ESPN’s John Clayton, the Raiders may be close to removing the interim title from Tony Sparano. Clayton was on 101Sports in St. Louis today and said the move may happen tonight or tomorrow (the comments on Sparano are around the 5 minute mark).
Earlier in the week Clayton said Jack Del Rio seemed like the logical choice in Oakland, but didn’t know if they were willing to wait for Denver’s season to end. Obviously from what he’s hearing now, he doesn’t think Mark Davis and Reggie McKenzie want to wait.
