It sounds like Michael Crabtree isn’t particularly beloved by teammates in Oakland – or at least by one of them.
According to Joe Arrigo, Crabtree is “spoiled, pouts, and don’t work hard.”
The player added “Crab wears on you. He’s spoiled, pouts & don’t work hard after he’s been on a team for a couple years. He thinks he’s better then he is, so yeah, Nelson would be welcomed. I hear he’s a great dude & works his *** off”

Crabtree also apparently took to social media for a since-deleted Instagram post that raised more suspicion that he might not be returning to the Raiders.
Do with the report what you will, but there has been a firestorm of red flags around Crabtree for the past couple months and it sure seems like his relationship with the Raiders is moving toward a divorce.

The only question here is , how long can Nelson perform at a high level ? He’s already 32 with some injury history that makes his once refined skills questionable . Also , he’ll cost more than Crabtree so how would it make sense given McKenzie is the penny pincher that he is .

I get tired of these talking heads coming up with so called “controversial stories” being given to them by a “player”, which equates to an “unknown source”. If they are beat writers and they do this they should be fired and/or tied to a tree and flogged. They start rumors that can hurt the team and hurt individual player’s careers. But they don’t care about that as long as they get “paid” or get some attention……. Oh and if the unknown source is real, they should man up, be identified instead of hiding behind anonymnity….
Crabtree is the best red zone receiver in the league and the Raiders are idiots for letting him go if they do and it looks like they will. Nelson is older than Crabtree and he’s a declining player. The only reason McKenzie wants him is because of his connection to the Packers. Absolutely stupid move. The only reason there were attitude issues surrounding Crabtree is because the offensive coaching staff was a bunch of idiots who didn’t know what the hell they were doing. I’d have attitude issues too if that was the case.
