Donald Penn says Jack Del Rio has the Raiders working as hard as any team he’s ever been on. The Pro Bowl tackle also talked about the leadership and work ethic of second-year quarterback, Derek Carr.
“He comes in at 5 o’clock every morning,” Penn told Sirius XM Radio. “Nodody knows that. He’s there before the coaches. The coaches meet him in the meeting room. He’s already there going over film.”
For what it’s worth, Carr was known for his work ethic long before the new coaching staff arrived. Last year, he showed up to the facility at 5:40 in the morning – on the team’s day off.
