Has Tom Brady’s time with the Patriots finally come to an end?
There have been rumors swirling around Brady all season and now that the season is over, most of the rumors are circling around Brady joining the Raiders or the Chargers.
UFC president Dana White is a friend of Brady’s and added fuel to the stories this weekend by saying there is “absolutely” some substance to the stories that Brady could end up in a Raiders uniform.
White also seems to believe, unless it was more of a tongue in cheek moment, that Brady’s decision will come down to either the Raiders or Patriots.
“If that dude isn’t playing for Boston, he’s playing here [in Las Vegas],” the UFC president said of the Brady rumors on Saturday night.
Who knows what the Raiders have in mind at quarterback for next year, but it’s fair to wonder whether adding Brady at the age of 43 (when the season begins) is the better option than Derek Carr at this point in his career. Carr will turn 29 in March and Gruden continues to emphasize that the Raiders need to put better players around Carr before making a decision on his long-term future with the team.
For what it’s worth, Brady struggled for much of the 2019 season but many have pointed to the Patriots lack of speed and overall talent at wide receiver to explain his drop in play. As much as anything else, it will be interesting to see what the Patriots believe they can still get from Brady. If Bill Belichick is happy to let him leave as an unrestricted free agent, it should at least raise questions.

Y not try Brady out remember they still made the playoffs!!!!! Brady wud change a whole lot for raiders, look wat he did in New England!!!!!!
No
Please, please, please, stop the rumors, let Brady resign with the Pats… Raider Nation does not want him……
It would be good if Dana White could concentrate on managing his promotion and fighters. While I have no doubt that Mr. White is friends with Brady, I wonder if Dana White has ever talked to anybody associated with the Raiders? While Brady may want to play for the Raiders, do the Raiders want to take the salary cap hit? Do they want a 43 year old QB starting in a division that has the Chargers, Chiefs, and Broncos defensive lines? Carr gets hit, too, but he is 27-28 years-old, not 43.
There is a lot more improvement elsewhere that can be had for the $30M+ cap hit that Brady represents. Like Cory Littleton, AJ Green, or Daveon Clowney.
No, no,no!!!!! Leave Carr alone get Mariota to back up Carr and or challenge him. WIDE RECEIVERS is what we need. Trade for a top 1 like senu or Hopkins. Then draft a #1 in the first round. Again draft a receiver in round #3. Then go and find an undrafted gem! That is what we need. Just win baby!
