Davante Adams Calls Desean Jackson Comments “Complete BS”

Former NFL wide receiver Desean Jackson made a lot of headlines last week when he said Davante Adams isn’t happy playing for the Raiders.

“This one’s tough because me and Davante, we’ve talked, and I hate to do it because I don’t want to be the guy that’s ‘Oh, D-Jax said this and said that” but at the end of the day [Davante] isn’t happy,’ Jackson said on the The Herd with Colin Cowherd. “You go from Aaron Rodgers, then you come to the Las Vegas Raiders… and it just didn’t quite work out and so now I just don’t think he’s really that happy there.”

Jackson’s comments came out of nowhere, but didn’t seem out of line with some of the frustration shown by Adams in the Netflix ‘Receiver’ series that aired over the summer.

“I gotta get the f— outta here before I lose my f—ing life. I ain’t never been hit this many f—ing times in my career. Every game, I get f—ed up,” Adams said during the Raiders week six game last year against the Patriots.

But according to Adams on Wednesday, he has barely talked to Jackson and never made any comments to him about his status with the Raiders.

“The facts are the facts and that is not a fact,” Adams said about Jackson’s comments. “I’ve probably spoken to Desean Jackson maybe three or four times in my life, and I never had a conversation with him ever and I put that on my kids. I have never spoken with him about anything. The only person I really talk to about my feelings, in general, is my wife probably, and she ain’t out there leaking anything and dropping stuff like that in the media…”

“Whatever has been put out there lately has been complete BS,” Adams continued. “I’ve never talked to Desean Jackson about one thing.”
