Amid rumors that his playing time is being affected by his attitude and work ethic, Sio Moore surfaced from a 47-day twitter hiatus to offer an update.

While his initial tweet was seemingly good-natured (albeit a little cryptic), the pleasantries were short-lived. Not long after CSN California’s Scott Bair acknowledged Moore’s return to social media, the third-year linebacker lashed out at Bair in a tweet that has since been deleted (hence the screenshot format).
Based on the above sequence, it doesn’t take a great deal of imagination to figure out how Moore might be having issues with the new coaching staff. Currently listed as a reserve (right now limited to special teams), and after a rough month returning from injury, there’s a chance he could be traded before the season begins.
A third-round pick in 2013, Moore was third on the Raiders in tackles (89) last year despite playing in only 11 games. He has two years remaining on his rookie contract. His replacement, Ray Ray Armstrong, has been flying around the field in his absence.
