Raiders Expected To Have Interest In Dion Jordan

Add another name to the list of potential free agents being linked to the Raiders.

Dion Jordan.

Raider fans will remember Jordan as the player drafted by the Dolphins in 2014 when the Raiders traded their third-overall pick to Miami.

Jeff Ireland, the Dolphins general manager at the time, believed he had fleeeced the Raiders with the trade when, in fact, no one got a particularly great deal out of the trade.

The Raiders took the player they would have taken third overal (D.J. Hayden) and added Menelik Watson with their second-round pick from Miami.

Ireland has long since been fired and now, according to The Athletic’s Vic Tafur, the Raiders are expected have interest in Jordan, who had four sacks in five games with the Seahawks in 2017.

Jordan is a restricted free agent and the Seahawks have shown interest in bringing him back.

For what it’s worth, Jordan has strong ties to the Bay Area – well worth reading about in the link below…

  1. This raidersbeat is all water cooler gossip with no facts just speculations and usually its some free agent with a story that ties them to Oakland or someone in the the organization.
Horrible reporting with no substance or depth. This may be the the real fake news. Done with this rag.

  2. The Above comments are spot-on. . Though I believe that the reality he described is True with 99% of these “sources”. . For the most part, I view “it All” as lies/ B*S until I see The transaction listed on the team’s website or watch the player sign and/ or confirm that it is official. . (And this is True with All “news”)
