Raiders Shielded Marshawn Lynch From Cameras As He Sat For The National Anthem On Sunday

Last week, nearly the entire Raiders team sat during the national anthem. Photographers squatted and stretched out all over the ground to get pictures.

This week, only Marshawn Lynch sat for the anthem and the Raiders weren’t offering any photo opportunities.

An image from the CBS broadcast shows Lynch with barely room to move as staffers shield him from cameras. It isn’t known whether the decision to block Lynch from view was initiated by the team or the player.

Lynch has been sitting for the national anthem long before it was trending in the news – although he has never spoken on his motivation to do so.

In what may or may not be related to his decision to sit, Lynch strolled into the stadium on Sunday sporting a t-shirt reading: Everybody -vs- Trump.

  1. I’ve been a raider fan since Phil Villapiano wore his infamous horseshoe neck roll.
This guy disgusts me to no end and I’m loosing my motivation to root for this team well beyond their losing years. That I can stomach. This is pure crap
