Michael Crabtree was essentially ruled out on Saturday night when the Raiders downgraded his status to ‘doubtful’. Multiple reports since have indicated that he will not play on Sunday night in Denver.
Now we know why.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Crabtree sustained a bruised lung last week against the Redskins.

Through three games, Crabtree leads the Raiders in receptions (13), receiving yards (170), and touchdowns (3). The team listed Crabtree as a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but on Friday he was withheld from practice.
The Raiders play host to the Ravens next week. Crabtree scored three touchdowns in the Raiders 28-27 win in Baltimore a year ago.

Get well soon. Might turn as a blessing in disguise if we use double TE formation against Broncos’ LB and S who can’t cover TE.
