According to ESPN reports, the Raiders are preparing to sign former 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree. The team has made no announcement, but Crabtree tweeted out earlier that it’s “official.”
According to Adam Schefter, Crabtree’s deal is for one year and worth up to $5 million.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that the deal is worth $3.2 before incentives. Crabtree was known to have received interest from Miami and Baltimore – the Dolphins were reportedly offered close to $3 million.
Although the Raiders have yet to make if official, Crabtree is positioned to join an Oakland receiving corps that includes Rod Streater, Andre Holmes, Brice Butler, James Jones, Kembrell Thomkins, and potentially a first-round pick in this year’s draft
