Sounds Like One of Mark Davis’ Top Advisors Could be “Uncle T” in the University of Michigan Sign-Stealing Scandal

Jim Harbaugh and Tom Brady are two names that could be very relevant to the Raiders search for a new head coach.

Harbaugh is always linked to the Raiders when there’s a job opening and Brady is believed to be one of the top advisors to Mark Davis.

Now it sounds like Harbaugh and Brady might be linked in another way.

According to a Yahoo Sports report on Friday, a University of Michigan booster named “Uncle T” had direct involvement with the signal-stealing scandal looming over the football program…

“The school also announced that linebackers coach Chris Partridge had been “relieved of his duties as a member of the Michigan Football staff.”

Multiple sources say that Partridge is not alleged at this time of knowing about the advanced scouting by Stalions, but acted after the fact to cover up evidence. Sources tell Yahoo Sports that a booster — named in the NCAA report as ‘Uncle T’ — helped fund the alleged scheme, giving Stalions thousands of dollars for expenses.”

We don’t know the identity of the “Uncle T” in the report, but we know that Brady is a Michigan alumni and still has strong ties to the organization. We also know that Brady hails from an NFL organization that has a well-documented history of cheating.

There is a report shooting down the notion that “Uncle T” is Tom Brady, but that’s to be expected whether it’s true or not.

Dan Wetzel on Twitter: “I can report, along with @RossDellenger, that Michigan booster “Uncle T” is not Tom Brady.Carry on. / Twitter”

I can report, along with @RossDellenger, that Michigan booster “Uncle T” is not Tom Brady.Carry on.

The more we get to know the characters involved in the Patriots dynasty, the more it feels like it might be a good idea for the Raiders to steer clear of everyone that was involved in it.

Looking back to the most recent offseason, it was Brady’s change of career plans that led the Raiders to burn the bridge with Derek Carr and end up with Jimmy Garoppolo.

And who knows… it might have been Brady in the ear of Mark Davis that led the Raiders to hire Josh McDaniels in the first place.

  1. The Raider Nation is done with the patriot way bullshit. Everyone knew except davis at the time that we were going to be fucked by bringing in these clowns that just got 86d. So give it a rest already we are seeing signs that the Raider way is back.

  2. Because the Raiders are a top notch team with never a cheating thought. Makes sense to steer clear of winners. Seems to be the standard here. What a joke, anyone related to the Raiders commenting about anyone who has remotely been successful in any field.

  3. I’ve said it from the beginning of those rumors of (Uncle?) Tom Brady becoming a partial owner of the Raiders. HELL NO! He was a proven cheater multiple times and he’s every REAL Raider fans worst memory in the last 25 years. Still a B.S. call. And the fact that Uncle T was a big McDaniels and Zeigler fan should make Mark want to rid himself of All Patriot related personnel. Thankfully the other owners have stated the purchase can’t go forward since it’s a lowball number.
