Just when you thought you might be able to relax on Khalil Mack for a minute, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported on Friday night that Mack’s trade market is “robust” and there is a “very real” possibility the Raiders could trade him in the days ahead.
With less than 24 hrs to go before the cut-down day deadline, the trade market for #Raiders star pass-rusher Khalil Mack is robust, I’m told. There are enough teams interested where the chances of Mack being traded is very real. Oakland is gauging and listening. Tune in tomorrow.

But more than anything else, it sounds like the Raiders are interested in hearing every team’s best offer – preferably in the next 24 hours.
From there, who knows what they intend to do, but from Jon Gruden’s perspective there’s no harm in hearing what teams are willing to offer.
What Rapoport is reporting isn’t a lot different than what others have been saying and unless you happen to be a conspiracy theorist, you already knew Gruden is curious to know what he can get for Mack before dumping $90 million guaranteed on a player that he can’t get to return his calls.
Just a guess, but if Mack makes it through the weekend without being traded (still the most likely scenario), it’s a good sign he’s going to be a Raider for a long, long time.
In the meantime, how does Khalil Mack ever sleep with all these rumors swirling around him?

All Khalil all the time. Trade him and let Chucky build his team. BTW, the team just finished preseason and are cutting the roster while I type. Maybe an article on one of those stories?
Blame your agent. Raiders have to deal with him again on Amari’s contract, so had to take a hard stance. After all do you want an agent who makes his client miss playing football?
