Host Names NFC North Team as Maxx Crosby’s Preferred Trade Destination

Will Maxx Crosby be back with the Raiders in 2026?

That’s the question everyone is asking in the last few weeks, and the latest from ESPN’s Adam Schefter is that if a deal for Crosby is going to happen, someone is going to have to come close to meeting the Raiders’ demand of two first-round picks and a player.

There are still connected media personalities around the league who believe Crosby is going to stay in Las Vegas, and the message out of the organization continues to be that he isn’t going anywhere.

“When it comes to the news of Maxx Crosby, most of [the news] has been fake and I’ve been telling you that for months,” Raider Nation Radio host ‘JT the Brick’ said on Friday.

“Now, could he be traded? Yes, he could be,” JT continued. “If something happens and there’s an impasse at some point, I don’t see it, but if it is, it’s not the end of the world. I didn’t trade him. I’m not the guy to do it, and I don’t think he’s going to get traded.”

As an employee of the team, JT ought to be one of the more reliable media types on Crosby, and it might be worth noting that a Denver area host Benjamin Allbright, who has long been a dependable source on the Raiders, shared a similar sentiment on Crosby on Tuesday.

Allbright believes Crosby will ultimately stay in Las Vegas but added that he believes Crosby would prefer to be traded to the Chicago Bears if a trade is going to happen.

On a related note, Crosby’s odds of being traded to Chicago skyrocketed this week at Draft Kings.

As many have pointed out, Crosby has had plenty of opportunities to shoot down rumors that he wants to leave the Raiders, and he was given another opportunity last week on his podcast.

Asked if he was going to be a ‘Raider for Life’ by fitness influencer Sara Saffari, Crosby stopped short of answering the question.

“I’ve talked about this too much. I’m going to just leave it at that. Life is good, I’m blessed, I’m happy. Sara Saffari is on my podcast. Life is good,” Crosby said on The Rush with Maxx Crosby.

Read into those comments how you will, but Crosby could have said he doesn’t want to leave the Raiders… but he dodged the question once again.

  1. Man just trade the dude already. Its obvious that behind closed doors the Raiders and Maxx have come to a agreement to trade him. Cause raider Nation knows Maxx..I feel like I no Maxx good enuff by now to know that in the past when Maxx got asked about being traded he would always say he wants to be a raider 4 life and he’s not requesting a trade. Now he’s not saying those same things and more or less avoids answering the question. So to me its obvious he’s being traded and its mutual. Plus its lil nuggets of more and more info coming out more often too. Like he’s being traded in 10 days maybe..a new team is favored to trade for Maxx…and now its funny how the team thats favored is also Maxx preferred destination. Cmon raider Nation its obvious..Maxx is all but gone now.

  2. This is ALWAYS the worst time of year because there is ALWAYS endless speculation and presuppositions. NO CLARITY just endless rumors and supposed propositions.

  3. Trade Maxx! Im Tired of his bitch *** Diva ! Get 2 picks and whatever else no less the Raiders management has always made dumb decisions at crucial opportun times when they should come out on top ,Maxx doesn’t get to decide where he gets traded to! Stop appeasing these over paid athletes! Its a business!

  4. Maxx is a selfish player that I can’t wait to see shown the exit. How do you get upset about a desion being made thats going to help the team. Afterall it is a team sport. I get it I’d be pretty worn down too with all the coaching changes. But to thier credit the Raiders are trying to get it right. Yeah it looks bad, with all the firings but it’s better than staying the course with either of McDaniels, Antonio Pierce or Pete Carroll. I feel really good about this one. At this point I say send Maxx packing if he’s not man enough to say it he wants out then send him on his way for saying he wants to stay. I hope that a team come through with 2 first and a player. Can’t wait to move on from him.
