Rod Streater spent the offseason gearing up to be a big part of the Raiders’ offense, but ten days into training camp, he has yet to practice. After landing on the team’s NFI (non-football injury) list to begin camp, the Raiders have offered very few updates until today – and it wasn’t much.
According to Jack Del Rio, the Raiders are still “trying to determine exactly what we’re dealing with” in regard to Streater’s health. CSN Bay Area’s Scott Bair says Streater has been working out on the sidelines, but there is still no timetable for his return.
Streater signed a 1 year, $2.356 deal in the offseason and when he returns, will likely be competing to be the Raiders’ no. 3 receiving option behind Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree.
